The theme of this work is related to my research topic of EL1, ‘Trauma, Resistance, and Empathy: Sound Art in the Humanistic Predicament and Memory Reconstruction of Wars‘, which tries to record the war as well as recreate the feelings through sound. The original speeches of some important political figures serve as important referential elements in this work, as memories of the sorrows of past times, and as warnings for the present and the future. In the soundscape, some faux-radio effects are used, both as a kind of retro in keeping with the memories of the era depicted, but also because wartime conditions often only allowed for this form of communication. Such effects tend to create an emotional evocation with the austere and suffering past. Similar to some of the sound pieces mentioned in the research paper, it is still the anti-war idea that is ultimately intended to be expressed. To revisit history and wounds in order to move forward in a better way.
